Australia and a couple more links to help

This was listed as a 1953 Australian Lifesavers ad. I'd never seen this one before, so I'll take that info as true. Very creative and cute.

watteaux has given me a link that lists places to donate to help with the Australian fires here.

They also provided this specific link to help the animals affected by the fire. Over 500 million animals have perished (I mean, it's a number you can't even begin to grasp). RSPCA ER Help for Animals.

Things to do

aka 2020 intentions... in no specific order

- pick a good icon for Ao3
- pick a good icon for Discord
- decide to stick with the original Tumblr account or the new one; conversely.. just dump both after saving the various posts, etc
- upload fandom life to the new server and edit the HTML on all the 12to32 (LJ) posts
- crosspost to [community profile] dragonnet (DW)
- post fic to Ao3
- get Steve back to the music collection and posting to steves_jukebox (LJ)
- use Ken's FB posts as inspiration and make a list of Top 100 movies - either two posts a week or cut down to 50 (with two byes)
- actually try to answer AtG's FB challenge of Top 25 Christmas songs
- revisit AtG's Top 100 Songs challenge and see what's changed.
- get TVU reopened for the Final/Farewell round. <---of course Game of Cards just came back up this morning.
- get back to tagging tinman_fic like anyone still cares
- clear out the owed banners list.
- Make MC's tags
- write more
- level up so the BfA moths don't kill me on contact. God, I hate WoW, sometimes.
- burn through the yarn stash and avoid Joanns, as promised on FB, yesterday
- catch up on all 20+ seasons of Red vs Blue
- get back into RP
- watch Van Helsing because apparently Neal was in the last season.
- read a damn book
- 100 other things I'm not thinking of right now..........
- get lunch

Weekend Events Starting tomorrow!!

While I am still working on this year's calendar (I plan to finish it this weekend), here's events for this weekend.

Ads for/involving Australia. Unless you've been living under a rock (Hi! Patrick Star!) Australia has had out of control fires, that seem to be getting worse, not better. There are just apocalyptic images of people with a blood red sky around them. There are many charities to donate to to help, but I'll just link one here. This is for the koala bears, over half their habitat has been destroyed, many have perished, many are injured, and the remaining need care and safety. WWF for Koalas.

Ads for/involving Babies. Should be self-explanatory, yes, open for interpretation (ie ::cough:: some 'world leader' ::cough::)

Ads for items 'As Seen on TV'. Come on Ginzu knives!!
